National Football Conference (NFC) Championship repeat tonight

Two of the best football teams are playing tonight. The Saints and the Vikings. Last year, the Saints won the Super Bowl (Championship). And the Vikings on the other hand, lost to the Saints to get to the Super Bowl. That game is called the NFC Championship game. The Saints have the Super bowl MVP (Most Valuable player) Drew Brees, and Reggie Bush, Tracy Porter, and Darron Sharper. And the Vikings have Brett Favre, Cidney Rice, Adrian Peterson, and Jared Allen. Both teams have a ton of good players, and they are all ready tonight. I think the Saints will win this big game, but other people may think the Vikings.

Utah upsets Pittsburgh, 27-24 in overtime

This game was was tight all along. Utah has won 17 straight home games. Plus, this game is at Utah.(remember, this is my first football post) But Pittsburgh on the other hand, starts 15th ranked in the whole country out of 120 teams! Utah was winning, 24-14 in the 4th quarter (4 quarters in a football game, each quarter is 15 minutes. And the time is not running) when Pittsburgh scores a touchdown. 24-21 Pittsburgh cuts the lead to 3 points. Pittsburgh attempted a field goal. The kick was good, but the coach on Utah called a timeout. Pittsburgh attempted another one, but is was no good! Utah wins! Wait, but Utah called another timeout. Then, they attempted another field goal! The kick was good, no timeouts, so we are going to overtime. Pittsburgh has the ball here in overtime. The quarterback passes the ball... intercepted!!!! Utah has the ball!!! Then, Utah attempted a field goal. The kick was good, no timeouts. Utah WINS!!! My prediction was wrong. I thought Pittsburgh would win, but they didn't.

Bench clearing brawl as Marlins pound Nationals

These two teams hate each other. Marlins and Nationals. Well, lets talk about the game. It was 14-3 the Marlins were winning in the 3rd inning. CRAZY!!!!! If I had to choose the player of the game for both teams, I would give it to whoever was playing in that game, all but Nygar Morgan. In the 6th inning, while the Marlins were winning, 15-5, Marlins pitcher threw a ball behind Morgan. Morgan got angry, and charged the mound. And thats how Nygar Morgan started the bench clearing brawl. The baseball game ended out to be 16-10 Marlins. My prediction was right. I thought the Marlins would pound, and they did.

Manny Ramirez White Sox debut

You know how I said that Manny Ramirez got traded to the White Sox? Well, he made his White Sox debut today in Cleveland vs the Indians. Manny went 1 for 3 (1 hit, 3 at bats) with a ground out, a strike out (K), and a single to center field. In my opinion, OK debut. But the White Sox, (including Manny) won today. HORRAY!!!! They might actually make the playoffs.(if you want to know what the playoffs are, go to the post that says, Manny Ramirez got traded to the White Sox from the Dodgers)

Royals rock Rangers, 10-9 in the 9th inning

This game was wild. It was a back and forth game. In the first inning, Michael Young hit a solo (no one on base) home run that made the Rangers winning, 1-0. The Royals strike back in the second, when Yousky Betancourt hit another solo home run. that tied the game, 1-1. But these two teams just started. The third inning was big as well. Lets start with the Rangers (away team). On Valadimar Guererro's ground out, Elvis Andrus scored from third base. Now, it is 2-1 Rangers. Now, the Royals turn. Billy Butler singled to center field, that made Henry Blanco score from second base. When Ka'aihue grounded out into a fielder's choice, Aviles scored from third base. Alex Gordon singled to center field, which made Ka'aihue score from second base. Now, the Royals have a 4-2 lead. Now in the 4th, the Rangers had revenge. David Murphy hit a solo home run to center field. 4-3 Royals entering the 5th inning. Josh Hamilton hit an infield single, which made Elvis Andrus score from third base. Next batter, Valadimar Guererro hit 2 run home run (1 man on base) to make a Rangers lead, 6-4. Now, the Royals turn. Alex Gordon doubles to right field, which scores Betimet and Pena. Miller doubled to center field, that scored Gordon, and Betancourt. Aviles singled to center field, that scored Miller. Now the Royals are leading 9-6. In the 6th, the Rangers tied the game up with Josh Hamiltons double to right, that scored Michael Young. Game is tied, 9-9. Now in the 9th inning, the Royals finally win on a wild pitch by Ogando, which scored Bloomquist from third base. A very wild game in Kansas City. In my opinion, the star player for the Rangers was Valadimar Guererro who hit a home run. And for the Royals, I thought it was Willie Bloomquist who scored on the wild pitch. I think the Rangers should have won because they have way better players.

Manny Ramirez traded to White Sox from Dodgers

Manny Ramirez had a journey on the Dodgers. On Friday he has to play  the Red Sox, his team before the Dodgers. Overall, Manny was better on the Red Sox then any other team he was on. Plus, the White Sox need more better players. The White Sox aren't in the playoffs right now, but they might win more games with Manny Ramirez. For the people who don't know what the playoffs are, the playoffs are a little tournament that all the good teams play each other. When there are two teams left, they call it The World Series. But it's not just one game it is a series best up to 7 games. Manny Ramirez and the White Sox have to go to the playoffs, before the end of September when the season ends and the playoffs start. In my opinion, Manny and the White Sox, will not make the playoffs in time because they are down by 9 games in the wild card. The wild card is the best second place team in each division.

Yankees and Rays are tied 1st place

The Yankees and Rays are currently the two best teams in baseball out of both the American League,(AL)and National League, (NL). Right now, the Rays are playing the Blue Jays and getting crushed, 8-3. While the Yankees on the other hand, are crushing the Athletics, 9-2. So, after today, the Yankees have a 99.9% chance of leading the Rays by half of a game.
